Wheat Seed Price List 

All wheat varieties require a license agreement with NUtech Ventures or be a member of NU Horizon Geneti before purchasing foundation seed from Husker Genetics.  Foundation Seed is not pre-treated but can be requested to be treated for a fee.  

Prices quoted are for bagged seed f.o.b. at the Husker Genetics Plant located at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center near Mead, Nebraska. (pin for the address).  Seed can be delivered to the customer address at an additional freight charge.

Contract Seed Production 

In addition to providing Foundation seed of varieties developed by UNL, HG also performs contract production of breeder or foundation class seed for outside parties. Custom production can range in size from an acre on up. Seed can be conditioned, treated and bagged to meet the customers’ needs. Please contact Hector Santiago for an estimate. 

 

 

Seed Orders 

HG sends a letter to our customers around the first week of July with the foundation seed order form of available varieties to be picked up or delivered around mid September of each year.  HG provides a discount of $5.00/unit  when orders are placed a year in advanced.
